Submit your panel slug and an email from the registrant or admin account. The server issues a token, you place it at https://[your-domain]/smmscout-verify.txt, then confirm below. Ownership is proven by the public token, not by the email.
The process
Email [email protected] from the panel account or the domain’s registrant address, naming the panel slug from your directory page. We reply with a unique verification code.
Place the token file at https://{domain}/smmscout-verify.txt containing only the code, or add the DNS TXT record smmscout-verify=CODE. Either method is publicly checkable.
The next data pull checks the token. On confirmation, the panel receives the +25 bonus, the verified badge, and a verified filter entry. The date is recorded on the page.

What does verification prove?
It proves the person behind the listing controls the panel domain. That is the only claim. It does not review the panel, guarantee delivery, or clear red flags.
What is the +25 bonus worth?
Twenty-five points on the Scout Score, which moves a panel roughly one band upward, plus a verified badge on the listing, leaderboards and directory. The badge is the real asset: it is the honest version of trust signals in this market.
Can I pay instead of verifying?
No. Verification is free and cannot be bought. Paid visibility exists as a separate, labeled sponsored system on the advertise page, and it never touches the score.
How long does verification last?
Until the token is removed from your site or DNS. We check tokens on every data pull, and the bonus is revoked automatically when the token disappears.
Does verification remove red flags?
No. Flags are observations with dates. A verified owner gets the ability to respond to a flag and request a re-check, which is a real advantage, but the flag itself stays until the evidence changes.
